- Don't sweat it. Keep trying, somebody always cancels at the last
- minute. Try to get on several waiting lists, and keep calling back,
- eventually you'll get a room. If this fails, the day of the hamfest will
- surely lead to some cancellations, especially if it's raining! I have
- been going to dayton on and off for 15 years, and rarely am I smart
- enough to reserve a room far in advance. I have yet to sleep in my car.
- This year I got a room at the Radisson Inn, but I think they are sold out
- now as well. You also might try some towns north of dayton on I75? I've
- done that too. The expressway makes it easy to travel far quickly.
